English translation

It is narrated from Safina (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: "The Caliphate will remain for thirty years, after that kingship will come." Safina (may Allah be pleased with him) counted it as follows: two years for the Caliphate of Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him), ten years for Umar Farooq (may Allah be pleased with him), twelve years for Usman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him), and six years for Ali Murtaza (may Allah be pleased with him) (making a total of thirty years). The narrator of the hadith says: I asked Saeed bin Jumhan, "Where did you meet Safina (may Allah be pleased with him)?" He said, "During the time of Hajjaj bin Yusuf, I met him in Batn Nakhlah, and I stayed with him for eight nights and kept asking him about the ahadith of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ). I also asked him his name, but he replied, 'I cannot tell you that. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) named me Safina.' I asked, 'Why did the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) name you Safina?' He replied, 'Once the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) set out with his companions (may Allah be pleased with them), their luggage was gathered and the bundle was loaded onto me. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said to me, "Carry it, for you are Safina (a ship)." That day, even if not one or two, but the load of seven camels had been placed on me, I would not have felt any burden, except if they had overburdened me.'"
