Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ جُمْهَانَ، عَنْ سَفِينَةَ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: " أَعْتَقَتْنِي أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ وَاشْتَرَطَتْ عَلَيَّ أَنْ أَخْدُمَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا عَاشَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Safinah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) set me free and stipulated the condition that I would continue to serve the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) for the rest of his life.
