حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُوحٍ قُرَادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ،، ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِخَيْرِ الشُّهَدَاءِ؟ الَّذِي يَأْتِي بِشَهَادَتِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا " أَوْ " يُخْبِرُ بِشَهَادَتِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسْأَلَهَا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Zaid bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Shall I not tell you about the best of witnesses? The one who is ready to give testimony (of the truth) before being asked to do so.
