حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الرُّكَيْنِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "إِنِّي تَارِكٌ فِيكُمْ خَلِيفَتَيْنِ: كِتَابُ اللهِ وَأَهْلُ بَيْتِي، وَإِنَّهُمَا لَنْ يَتَفَرَّقَا حَتَّى يَرِدَا عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ جَمِيعًا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: I am leaving among you two deputies; one is the Book of Allah, which is a rope hanging between the heavens and the earth, and the other is my Ahl al-Bayt. And these two things will never be separated until they come to me at the Pond of Kawthar.
