حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَهْمِ بْنِ صُخَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: "صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِ بِذِي قَرَدٍ، أَرْضٌ مِنْ أَرْضِ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ، فَصَفَّ النَّاسُ خَلْفَهُ صَفَّيْنِ: صَفًّا مُوَازِي الْعَدُوِّ، وَصَفًّا خَلْفَهُ، فَصَلَّى بِالصَّفِّ الَّذِي يَلِيهِ رَكْعَةً، ثُمَّ نَكَصَ هَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلَاءِ، وَهَؤُلَاءِ إِلَى مَصَافِّ هَؤُلَاءِ، فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً أُخْرَى " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led the prayer of fear in a region of Banu Sulaym called "Dhi Qarad." The people formed two rows behind the Noble Prophet (ﷺ): one row stood facing the enemy, and one row stood behind the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) for prayer. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) led these people in one rak'ah, then these people walked backwards to the place of those standing before the enemy, and those people came and stood behind the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), and the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) led them in the second rak'ah.
