Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ: "أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ فِي بَيْعِ الْعَرَايَا أَنْ تُبَاعَ بِخَرْصِهَا، وَلَمْ يُرَخِّصْ فِي غَيْرِ ذَلِكَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Zaid bin Thabit that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) permitted in "Bay' Araya" that it may be sold by estimation and measurement. Benefit: For clarification of Bay' Araya, see Hadith number (4490).
