حَدِيثُ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، (١) عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ٢١٥٧٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ، مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ أَبِي الرِّجَالِ، عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ، قَالَ: أَخَذْتُ نُهَسًا بِالْأَسْوَافِ، (٢) فَأَخَذَهُ مِنِّي زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، فَأَرْسَلَهُ، وَقَالَ: "أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَرَّمَ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْهَا " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
Sharjeel says that once I caught a bird in the market that was like a shrike. Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) saw it, took it from my hand and set it free (and it flew away), and said: Do you not know that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) has declared the area between the two boundaries of Madinah Munawwarah as sacred?
