حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ وَاصِلٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَعْمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "عُرِضَتْ عَلَيَّ أُمَّتِي بِأَعْمَالِهَا حَسَنَةٍ وَسَيِّئَةٍ، فَرَأَيْتُ فِي مَحَاسِنِ أَعْمَالِهَا إِمَاطَةَ الْأَذَى عَنِ، ، الطَّرِيقِ، وَرَأَيْتُ فِي سَيِّئِ أَعْمَالِهَا النُّخَاعَةَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ لَا تُدْفَنُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The good and bad deeds of my Ummah were presented before me. Among the list of good deeds, I saw the removal of a harmful thing from the road, and among the list of bad deeds, I saw spitting inside the mosque without mixing it into the soil.
