Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، أَوْ سَعِيدٍ، (٢) عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ: "أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجَمَ امْرَأَةً، فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَحْفِرَ لَهَا، فَحَفَرْتُ لَهَا إِلَى سُرَّتِي " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) carried out the punishment of stoning on a woman, so he ordered me to dig a pit for her. Accordingly, I dug a pit for her up to the navel.
