Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أَبِي هِلَالٍ، عَنْ بَكْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ: "انْظُرْ، فَإِنَّكَ لَيْسَ بِخَيْرٍ مِنْ أَحْمَرَ وَلَا أَسْوَدَ إِلَّا أَنْ تَفْضُلَهُ بِتَقْوَى " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said to him: "Behold, you are not better than any red or black person except that you surpass someone in piety."
