Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ الْحِمْصِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: "مَنْ زَنَّى أَمَةً لَمْ يَرَهَا، تَزْنِي جَلَدَهُ اللهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِسَوْطٍ مِنْ نَارٍ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: Whoever accuses a slave-girl of adultery without having seen her committing adultery himself, Allah Almighty will punish him with lashes of fire on the Day of Resurrection.
