Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ أَبِي شَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ:: اتَّقِ اللهَ حَيْثُمَا كُنْتَ، وَأَتْبِعِ السَّيِّئَةَ الْحَسَنَةَ تَمْحُهَا، وَخَالِقِ النَّاسَ بِخُلُقٍ حَسَنٍ " (١) قَالَ وَكِيعٌ: وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ، مَرَّةً: عَنْ مُعَاذٍ، " فَوَجَدْتُ فِي كِتَابِي: عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ وَهُوَ السَّمَاعُ الْأَوَّلُ "، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said to him: Fear Allah wherever you are. If you commit a bad deed, then follow it up with a good deed which will erase it, and behave with people with good manners.
