حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْمُخَارِقِ، قَالَ: خَرَجْنَا حُجَّاجًا، فَلَمَّا بَلَغْنَا الرَّبَذَةَ قُلْتُ لِأَصْحَابِي: تَقَدَّمُوا، وَتَخَلَّفْتُ، فَأَتَيْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ، وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي، فَرَأَيْتُهُ يُطِيلُ الْقِيَامَ، وَيُكْثِرُ الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ، فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ، فَقَالَ: مَا أَلَوْتُ أَنْ أُحْسِنَ، إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: "مَنْ رَكَعَ رَكْعَةً أَوْ سَجَدَ سَجْدَةً رُفِعَ بِهَا دَرَجَةً، وَحُطَّتْ عَنْهُ بِهَا خَطِيئَةٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Mukhariq (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once we set out with the intention of performing Hajj. When we reached the place of Rabdha, I said to my companions, "You go ahead," and I stayed behind. I went to serve Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him). He was performing prayer at that time. I saw him standing for a long time and performing many bowings and prostrations. I mentioned this to him, and he said, "I do not fall short in doing the best I can from my side. I heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: Whoever performs one bowing or one prostration, one rank is raised for him and one sin is forgiven."
