حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ: أَنَّ أَبَا سَالِمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيَّ، أَتَى إِلَى أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ فِي مَنْزِلِهِ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ، يَقُولُ: إِنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: "إِذَا أَحَبَّ أَحَدُكُمْ صَاحِبَهُ، فَلْيَأْتِهِ فِي مَنْزِلِهِ، فَلْيُخْبِرْهُ أَنَّهُ يُحِبُّهُ لِلَّهِ " وَقَدْ جِئْتُكَ فِي مَنْزِلِكَ (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: If any of you loves his companion, he should go to his house and inform him that he loves him for the sake of Allah. And O Abu Dharr! I have come to your house for this very reason.
