حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ (١) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ عَوْفٍ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ عُتَيٍّ، عَنْ أُبَيٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، مِثْلَهُ. (٢)،
Translation
English translation
The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain. A man from Ati bin Damrah Sa'di attributed himself falsely to someone... Then the narrator mentioned the entire hadith and said: He (the Prophet) said, "We have been commanded to do this, and the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) commanded us that if you hear a man attributing himself to the days of ignorance, then make him feel ashamed through his father's private parts." The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
