Translation

English translation

Narrated from Zirr with reference to Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah Almighty has commanded me to recite the Qur'an to you. Then the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) recited Surah Al-Bayyina to them, and in it he also recited these verses: If the son of Adam asks for a valley of wealth and it is given to him, he will ask for a second one, and if he is given the second upon asking, he will ask for a third, and nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust. And whoever repents, Allah turns to him. And this religion, in the sight of Allah, is called "Hanifiyyah," in which there is absolutely no polytheism, Judaism, or Christianity. And whoever does any good deed, it will never be denied to him. (Later, these verses were abrogated.)
