حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْعَنْبَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْجَارِيَةِ الْعَبْدِيُّ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ " قَرَأَ: {قَدْ بَلَّغْتَ مِنْ لَدُنِّي عُذْرًا} [الكهف: ٧٦] " يُثَقِّلُهَا (٣)، ، •
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) with reference to Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) recited the word "balaghta" with tashdeed, that is, "ballaghta," in the verse "If I ask you about anything after this, then do not keep me in your company; indeed you have reached..."
