Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، وَرَوْحٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " لَئِنْ عِشْتُ - قَالَ رَوْحٌ: لَئِنْ سَلِمْتُ - إِلَى قَابِلٍ، لَأَصُومَنَّ (٢) الْيَوْمَ التَّاسِعَ، يَعْنِي عَاشُورَاءَ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنه) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was treated with cupping when he was in ihram; he was treated with cupping on his head. Yazeed said: Because of a pain he felt.
