حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ بِاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى " (٢) ، وَفِي الصُّبْحِ أَطْوَلَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite Surah Al-Lail in the Zuhr prayer, and in the Asr prayer he would recite similar surahs, but in the Fajr prayer he would recite longer surahs than these.
