Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) entered the mosque and saw some people raising their hands. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: What is the matter with these people that they gesture with their hands as if they are the tails of restless horses? Remain calm in prayer. Once the Prophet (ﷺ) came to us in the mosque and said: What is the matter that I see you in the form of different groups? (At that time, the companions were sitting in this manner.)
