حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ضَلِيعَ الْفَمِ، أَشْكَلَ الْعَيْنِ، مَنْهُوسَ الْعَقِبَيْنِ " قُلْتُ لِسِمَاكٍ: مَا ضَلِيعُ الْفَمِ؟ قَالَ: " عَظِيمُ الْفَمِ ". قُلْتُ: مَا أَشْكَلُ الْعَيْنِ؟ قَالَ: " طَوِيلُ شُفْرِ الْعَيْنِ (١) ". قُلْتُ: مَا مَنْهُوسُ الْعَقِبِ؟ قَالَ: " قَلِيلُ لَحْمِ الْعَقِبِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that there were reddish streaks in the whiteness of the eyes of the Prophet (ﷺ), his blessed mouth was wide, and there was little flesh on his blessed shins.
