Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِفَرَسٍ حِينَ انْصَرَفَ مِنْ جَنَازَةِ أَبِي الدَّحْدَاحِ، فَرَكِبَ وَنَحْنُ حَوْلَهُ نَمْشِي " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) led the funeral prayer of Abu Dardaah, then a horse was brought, the Prophet (ﷺ) mounted it, and we began to walk around the Prophet (ﷺ).
