English translation
It is narrated from Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) came to his companions and said: "What is the matter that I see you divided into different groups?" The companions were sitting in this manner at that time. And once he entered the mosque and saw some people raising their hands. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "What is the matter with these people that they gesture with their hands as if they are the tails of unruly horses? Remain calm in prayer."
