حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الرُّزِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ الْعَمِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ مَعَ أَبِي عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الدِّينُ عَزِيزًا، أَوْ قَالَ: لَا يَزَالُ النَّاسُ بِخَيْرٍ شَكَّ أَبُو عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ، إِلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً "،، ، ثُمَّ قَالَ كَلِمَةً خَفِيَّةً، فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي: مَا قَالَ؟ قَالَ: " كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ (١)، •
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying during the Farewell Pilgrimage that this religion will always prevail over its opponents; no one who opposes or separates from it will be able to harm it, until twelve caliphs have passed among my Ummah. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said something which I did not understand. I asked my father what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said. He replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: All of them will be from the Quraysh.
