حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّقِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبِي الَّذِي آتِي فِيهِ أَهْلِي؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ، إِلَّا أَنْ تَرَى فِيهِ شَيْئًا فَتَغْسِلَهُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard a man asking the Prophet (ﷺ): "Can I pray in the clothes in which I go to my wife?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied: "Yes, unless you see a stain on them, then wash it off."
