Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا هَلَكَ كِسْرَى، فَلَا كِسْرَى بَعْدَهُ، وَإِذَا هَلَكَ قَيْصَرُ، فَلَا قَيْصَرَ بَعْدَهُ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، لَتُنْفَقَنَّ كُنُوزُهُمَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when Kisra is destroyed, there will be no Kisra after him; when Caesar is destroyed, there will be no Caesar after him. By the One in Whose hand is my soul, you will surely spend both of their treasures in the way of Allah, and that time will certainly come.
