حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ، كَيْفَ كَانَ يَصْنَعُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ؟ قَالَ: " كَانَ يَقْعُدُ فِي مَقْعَدِهِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Samak asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) what was the blessed practice of the Prophet (ﷺ) after offering the Fajr prayer. He replied: He used to remain seated in his place until the sun had risen.
