حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ سَمُرَةَ، كَيْفَ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: " كَانَ يَخْطُبُ قَائِمًا، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقْعُدُ قَعْدَةً، ثُمَّ يَقُومُ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
Simak says that I asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) how the Prophet (ﷺ) used to deliver the sermon. He replied that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to deliver the sermon standing, would sit between the two sermons, and then stand again.
