حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، " أَنَّ أَهْلَ بَيْتٍ كَانُوا بِالْحَرَّةِ مُحْتَاجِينَ "، قَالَ: " فَمَاتَتْ عِنْدَهُمْ نَاقَةٌ لَهُمْ، أَوْ لِغَيْرِهِمْ، (١) فَرَخَّصَ لَهُمُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي أَكْلِهَا "، قَالَ: " فَعَصَمَتْهُمْ بَقِيَّةَ شِتَائِهِمْ، أَوْ سَنَتِهِمْ، " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that there was a family living in Harrah whose members were poor and needy. Near them, either their own or someone else's she-camel died. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) granted them permission to eat it. (Due to the state of necessity, and that she-camel sustained them for a year.)
