حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنِي حَيَّةُ بْنُ حَابِسٍ التَّمِيمِيُّ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ، أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " لَا شَيْءَ فِي الْهَامِ، وَالْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ، وَأَصْدَقُ الطِّيَرِ الْفَأْلُ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
Hiyyah Tamimi's father says that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "There is no reality in anything being inside the skull of the dead; the evil eye is true, and the truest omen is a good omen."
