حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي وَيَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَمْزَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْمُغِيرَةَ الْأَزْدِيَّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ حَيَّانَ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الْحَضْرَمِيِّ، قَالَ: " بَعَثَنِي نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْبَحْرَيْنِ، أَوْ أَهْلِ هَجَرَ شَكَّ أَبُو حَمْزَةَ، " قَالَ: " كُنْتُ آتِي الْحَائِطَ (٢) بَيْنَ الْإِخْوَةِ، فَيُسْلِمُ أَحَدُهُمْ، فَآخُذُ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِ الْعُشْرَ، وَمِنَ الْآخَرِ الْخَرَاجَ " (٣)، ، . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Alaa that the Prophet (peace be upon him) sent me to Bahrain or to the people of Hajar. I used to go to a garden which was shared among several brothers. One of those brothers became Muslim, so I would collect 'ushr from the Muslim and kharaj from the other.
