Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: None of you should say, "I stood (in prayer) for the entire Ramadan." Now Allah knows best whether the Prophet (ﷺ) feared that his Ummah might declare their own purity, or he said this because there is no escape from sleep and heedlessness.
