حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكَرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ كَانَتْ جُهَيْنَةُ، وَأَسْلَمُ، وَغِفَارُ خَيْرًا مِنْ بَنِي تَمِيمٍ، وَبَنِي عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ غَطَفَانَ، وَبَنِي عَامِرِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ " وَمَدَّ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَدْ خَابُوا وَخَسِرُوا، قَالَ: " فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَهُمْ خَيْرٌ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Tell me, are the people of the tribes of Juhainah, Aslam, Ghifar, and Ghatafan better than the people of Banu Asad, Banu Tamim, and Banu Amir bin Sa'sa'ah? Then a man said: They will be deprived and in loss. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: By Him in Whose hand is my soul, those people are better than us.
