Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ الشَّحَّامُ، حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكَرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ: " اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ، وَالْفَقْرِ، وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to supplicate after every prayer: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from disbelief, poverty, and the torment of the grave.
