حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ بْنِ مِلْحَانَ الْقَيْسِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ نَصُومَ اللَّيَالِي الْبِيضَ: ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ، وَأَرْبَعَ عَشْرَةَ، وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ "، وَقَالَ: " هُنَّ (٤) كَهَيْئَةِ الدَّهْرِ " (٥)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) commanded us to fast on the white days, that is, the 13th, 14th, and 15th of the lunar month, which in reward are equal to fasting the entire month.
