حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عِيَاضٌ أَبُو خَالِدٍ قَالَ: كَانَ بَيْنَ جَارَيْنِ لمَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ كَلَامٌ، فَصَارَتِ الْيَمِينُ عَلَى، ، أَحَدِهِمَا، فَسَمِعْتُ مَعْقِلَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ يَقْتَطِعُ بِهَا مَالَ أَخِيهِ، لَقِيَ اللهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ "، (١)،
Translation
English translation
Iyad says that I saw two men arguing in the presence of Ma'qil. Ma'qil said that the Messenger of Allah said: Whoever swears a false oath about something in order to wrongfully take someone’s property will meet Allah while Allah is angry with him.
