حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، وَحَجَّاجٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عِيَاضًا أَبَا خَالِدٍ، قَالَ:، ، رَأَيْتُ رَجُلَيْنِ يَخْتَصِمَانِ عِنْدَ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، فَقَالَ مَعْقِلُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ لِيَقْتَطِعَ بِهَا مَالَ رَجُلٍ، لَقِيَ اللهَ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ غَضْبَانُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Iyad says that I saw two men arguing in the presence of Ma'qil. Ma'qil said that the Messenger of Allah said: Whoever swears a false oath about something in order to wrongfully take someone’s property will meet Allah while Allah is angry with him.
