حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، وَرَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ،، ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " عَلَيْكُمْ بِهَذَا الْبَيَاضِ، فَيَلْبَسُهُ أَحْيَاؤكُمْ، (١) وَقَالَ رَوْحٌ: فَلْيَلْبَسْهُ أَحْيَاؤُكُمْ، وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهِ مَوْتَاكُمْ، فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ خَيْرِ ثِيَابِكُمْ "، (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Wear white clothes, for they are excellent and pure, and shroud your dead in them as well.
