حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ (٢) ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، فَذَكَرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ. فَحَدَّثْتُ بِهِ أَبِي، فَقَالَ: " لَمْ أَسْمَعْهُ مِنْ وَكِيعٍ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
Abdullah narrated to us, Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Waki‘ narrated to us, from his father, from Sa‘id ibn Masruq, from al-Sha‘bi, and he mentioned this hadith. So I related it to my father, and he said: I did not hear it from Waki‘.
