English translation

It is narrated from Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) led the Fajr prayer, and after the prayer, he said three times: "Is there anyone here from such-and-such tribe?" A man said, "Yes, we are present." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Your companion who has passed away has been held back at the gate of Paradise because of a debt. Therefore, pay off his debt."
