Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَرَ مُنَادِيَهُ فَنَادَى فِي يَوْمٍ مَطِيرٍ: الصَّلَاةُ فِي الرِّحَالِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of rain during the Battle of Hunain, the Prophet (ﷺ) instructed the people to pray in their tents.
