Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: " أَصَابَتْنَا السَّمَاءُ وَنَحْنُ مَعَ نَبِيِّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَنَادَى: الصَّلَاةُ فِي الرِّحَالِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of rain during the Battle of Hunayn, the Prophet (ﷺ) told the people to pray in their tents.
