Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي هِنْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي قَزَعَةَ، عَنِ الْأَسْقَعِ بْنِ الْأَسْلَعِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا تَحْتَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ مِنَ الْإِزَارِ فِي النَّارِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The part of the lower garment which hangs below the ankles will burn in the fire of Hell.
