حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " احْضُرُوا الْجُمُعَةَ، وَادْنُوا مِنَ الْإِمَامِ، فَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَتَخَلَّفُ عَنِ الْجُمُعَةِ حَتَّى إِنَّهُ لَيَتَخَلَّفُ عَنِ الْجَنَّةِ، وَإِنَّهُ لَمِنْ أَهْلِهَا " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Attend the Friday prayer and stay close to the Imam, for a person who keeps staying behind from Jumu'ah keeps staying behind from Paradise, even though he is deserving of it.
