حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ، عَنْ أَبِي رَجَاءٍ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " رَأَيْتُ لَيْلَةَ أُسْرِيَ بِي رَجُلًا يَسْبَحُ فِي نَهَرٍ وَيُلْقَمُ الْحِجَارَةَ، فَسَأَلْتُ مَا هَذَا،، ، فَقِيلَ لِي: آكِلُ الرِّبَا " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: On the night of Mi'raj, I saw a man who was swimming in a river and stones were being fed into his mouth. I asked about him, and I was told that he is a usurer (one who consumes interest).
