Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، وَأَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مِغْوَلٍ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا رُقْيَةَ إِلَّا مِنْ عَيْنٍ أَوْ حُمَةٍ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "No illness should be treated with incantations except the evil eye or the sting of a poisonous creature."
