Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَنْصُورٌ، وَحُمَيْدٌ، وَيُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ،، ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُنَا، فَيَأْمُرُنَا بِالصَّدَقَةِ، وَيَنْهَانَا عَنِ الْمُثْلَةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) would always encourage giving charity in his addresses and would forbid mutilation.
