Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنِ الْكَيِّ فَاكْتَوَيْنَا، فَلَمْ يُفْلِحْنَ وَلَمْ يُنْجِحْنَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade us from treating with cauterization, but we continued to cauterize and were never successful.
