Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي لَيْثٍ يَقُولُ: أَشْهَدُ عَلَى عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنِ الْحَنَاتِمِ، وَعَنْ خَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ، وَعَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that I bear witness that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade hatnam, gold rings, and silk.
