حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا رَجُلٌ، وَالرَّجُلُ كَانَ يُسَمَّى فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: عَمْرَو بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيُّ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: " مَا شَبِعَ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ خُبْزِ بُرٍّ مَأْدُومٍ حَتَّى مَضَى لِوَجْهِهِ " (٣)، ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: وَكَانَ أَبِي رَحِمَهُ اللهُ قَدْ ضَرَبَ عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فِي كِتَابِهِ، فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَحَدَّثَنِي بِهِ، وَكَتَبَ عَلَيْهِ صَحَّ صَحَّ إِنَّمَا ضَرَبَ أَبِي عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ؛ لِأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَرْضَ الرَّجُلَ الَّذِي حَدَّثَ عَنْهُ يَزِيدُ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the family of the Prophet (ﷺ) was never fully satisfied with barley bread along with curry, until the Prophet (ﷺ) departed from this world.
